The Results of the 2008 Mawa3eed Program
The winners of Mawa3eed Program in 2008 are:

  1. Mazaher Group – Egypt: received a grant to participate in El Bustan Festival in Lebanon
  2. Incognito – Lebanon: received a grant to invite two music groups from Egypt to perform in Lebanon.
  3. Makan – Jordan: received a grant to invite 7 artists from Egypt to participate in 100 Copies Festival.
  4. Elham Khattab – Egypt: received a grant to travel to Syria with 4 visual artists from Egypt to participate in a workshop with Syrian artists in collaboration with All Art Now Foundation.
  5. Shahadeen ya Baladna Group – Lebanon: Received a grant to travel to Egypt to present concerts in Cairo and Alexandria in coordination with Al Warsha Theatre Troupe.
  6. Human Film – Iraq: received a grant to support artists from Baghdad to Kurdistan to participate in a film workshop preparing to shoot the Iraqi dim “Um Hussain”.
  7. Shaimaa Aziz – Egypt: received a grant to travel to Lebanon to participate in “Women in Black” exhibition in Zico house.
  8. Heidar Helw – Iraq: received a grant to travel from Egypt to Beirut to film an interview with Jawad El Assadi as part of his film “ Dancing under Crossfire” .
  9. El Harah Theatre – Palestine: received a grant to support the travel of members of Al Harah Theatre from Palestine and El Khayal Association from Lebanon to Jordan to participate in a puppet workshop.
  10. Francois Abou Salem – Palestine: received a grant to travel to Egypt to participate in the 20th international Experimental Theatre Festival.
  11. Wogoh Theatre Group – Egypt: received a grant to travel to Lebanon to present the play “Cafeteria” in Dawar El Shams Theatre.
  12. Labo Beckett, Youssed Al Raihani – Morocco: received a grant to travel from Morocco to Egypt to participate in the 20th international Experimental Theatre Festival.
  13. Arab Digital Expression Camp- Egypt: received a grant to support the travel of two trainers in the field of animation from Lebanon to Egypt to participate in the Camp.
  14. Arab Dance Theatre Laboratory, Nawel Eskandrani – Tunis: received a grant to support two students to travel from Morocco to Tunisia to participate in the Arab dance theatre laboratory project.
  15. Al Quds University Choir – Palestine: received a grant to travel from Palestine to Morocco to participate in the 6th International Festival for University Music in Marrakesh during April 2009.
  16. Club Unesco Alesco Bardo – Tunisia: received a grant to travel from Tunisia to Mauritania to present “Shou Alhataya” performance during the Tunisian Diaspora celebration of Independence and Youth Feasts.
