Culture Resource is pleased to announce the members of its new Artistic Board, which was elected for a three-year term during the General Assembly’s annual meeting, held online on Thursday, 27 June 2025.
The newly elected Artistic Board consists of:
- Habiba Laloui (Algeria) / President
- Ahmed Ezzat (Egypt) / Vice President
- Mourad Kadiri (Morocco) / Secretary
- Dirk De Wit (Belgium) / Treasurer
- Milica Ilic (Belgium) / Member
- Mohamed Idoumou (Mauritania) / Member
- Rasha Salah (Palestine/Lebanon) / Member
Dr. Habiba Laloui, the newly elected President of the Artistic Board, expressed her pride in assuming this role and praised the organization’s collaborative, horizontal governance model. She noted that this approach has fostered meaningful and ongoing exchange with colleagues in the General Assembly and the outgoing Artistic Board, where she served as Vice President. Looking ahead, Laloui expressed hope that this new term would be an opportunity to shape the organization’s aspirations despite today’s challenging regional and global context, as she reaffirmed her commitment to renewal and experimentation, an approach that Culture Resource has long pioneered. She concluded by promising that the new Board will build on the organization’s two-decade legacy while embracing new experiences that align with its vision, guide its direction, and respond to the needs of the present moment.
