The second is capacity-building in cultural management and planning.

Imkan programme aspires  to contribute to the empowerment of cultural leaders and managers in the Arab world so that they can play an effective and central role in the processes of political and social change in the region. Towards this end, it seeks to equip them with the skills, know-how and expertise they need to interact with, influence and develop the cultural work environment.

Imkan workshops were initiated by Culture Resource in 2013 and it has organised them annually since then in the framework of its Cultural Management Training Programme.
