Culture Resource launches the open call for the seventh round of the Abbara program that aims to support collective cultural work, contribute to the development of the cultural sector and address the common challenges of independent cultural work across the Arab region. Abbara contributes to enabling independent cultural organizations and initiatives by offering financial support of up to €22,000 in core funding, training in strategic planning and organizational management, technical support, and networking opportunities with other active organizations in the arts and culture sector.
This program is open to independent, non-governmental artistic and cultural initiatives/organizations in the Arab region as well as Arab artistic and cultural initiatives/organizations abroad whose work serves artistic and cultural production in Arabic.
In this round, we encourage organizations involved in the fields of Music and Literature to apply since we will be selecting 10 organizations, 4 of which work in these two fields.
Applications are accepted until 31 March, 2022 at 16:00 Beirut time.
