AKacia Productions is a Tunisian company that specializes in organizing concerts and music festivals. It works to spread African and Arab alternative music and develop the cultural sector in Tunisia through training workshops and structuring cultural projects in various Tunisian cities. AKacia Productions works towards developing its TUNES project through three axes:
1. TUNES LAB which is a training program that targets artists and aims at structuring cultural organizations that are active in regions outside the capital.
2. TUNES CONCERTS is a series of traveling concerts taking place all over Tunisia.
3. TUNES EXPO is a professional meeting scheduled for 2023 which aims to create a networking space between professionals from the music industry, in partnership with the Center for Arab and Mediterranean Music « Ennejma Ezzahra ».

SHOBBAK - An alliance between Société Akacia Productions, Association Al Badil, and Chrita
The alliance between AKACIA, AL-Badil, & CHRITA came into realization by complementing the capacities of each other and adopting a unified vision based on values of solidarity, accompaniment and participation to achieve a cultural renaissance in Tunisia.
This project aims to democratise access to culture by focusing on the dynamic between cultural professionals, associations, and young activists through mapping activities, capacity building, and creation of synergies for cultural actors. The Shobbek alliance will adopt a participatory approach of decentralisation, inclusion and integration.
To achieve a long-term impact. The 2 year collaborative project will focus on “pilot” regions, chosen on the basis of a qualitative study carried out on 17 Tunisian governorates with festival directors and officials attached to the Tunisian Ministry of Cultural Affairs.
