Alwan Wa Awtar NGO

Alwan wa Awtar (A&A) is a Cairo-based non-governmental organization that was established in 2005, offering non-formal educational services to children and youth in different community settings. Using “arts for development” as a methodology, A&A creates inclusive and welcoming learning spaces that support individuals in developing their authentic identities and 21st-century skills. Today, A&A operates three service units: the Mokattam Community Space, the Montessori Corner, and the Knowledge Hub.
