Open Gates Project - a partnership between Dorte Riemenschneider representing Moviemiento E.V., and Ayham Abou Shakra representing Ettijahat. Independent Culture
Open Gates is a cooperation project of Ettijahat (Syria) and Moviemiento (Germany). The project consists of workshops on film making that will be held for non-professional film makers among Syrian refugees living in Lebanon. The best workshop films as well as the entries of an open call will result to a short film programme that will be shown in Beirut and Berlin. The aim is to promote skills and to grant people in refugee camps opportunities to treat experience with creativity.
