Haisam Abdelhamed

The grant enables him to travel from Egypt to Morocco to screen his short documentary, My Name is Nour, at the Meknes International Film Festival. A director and screenplay writer, Haisam has received numerous awards at international and local festivals and his works have been screened in more than 55 film festivals around the world.

The grant supports his travel from Egypt to Morocco to screen his film “Art is Life” in the fifth edition of the Tetouan Film Festival and the seventh edition of the Meknes Film Festival.

Haytham Abdel Hamid received a grant to travel from Cairo to Beirut to participate in Tripoli International Film Festival that is organized yearly to enrich the cinematic movement in North Lebanon. The festival received 227 films from the entire world of which only 53 films were selected. “Behind the doors of silence” of Haytham Abdel Hamid is one of the selected films.
