Dirk De Wit is part of the Development and Innovation team at Flanders Arts Institute (Belgium). He previously worked as a freelance curator for Palais des Beaux-Arts Brussels, Centre Pompidou, and Kunstenfestivaldesarts. Between 1989 and 1996, he served as a curator and later director of the arts center STUK in Leuven. De Wit also founded the Brussels-based arts and media institution Constant and was a member of the artistic team for Brussels 2000 – European Capital of Culture.
