Maen Hasbani received a grant to travel from Brussels to Tunisia to give a workshop in cinema and photography to the youth of Bani Mtir, in the governorate of Jendoba in Tunisia. The workshop is organized by the Tunisian association L’Art Vivant under the umbrella of Culture Resource program Tunis Balad Al Fann.

Mansour El Sherif Mansour received a grant to travel from Cairo to Kelibia – Tunisia to give workshops about the production stages of animation films for children. Mansour will also show his films for children as a parallel event to the 31st edition of The International Festival of Amateurs Films in Kelibia-Tunisia.

Nancy Naous received a grant to travel from Paris to Beirut to prepare a contemporary dance performance in collaboration with the Lebanese dancer and choreographer Alexandre Paulikevich.

Milad Abou Moussa received a grant to travel from Beirut to Tunisia to give workshops to children and youth about cinematic language. Abou Moussa will show his films that target children as an audience as a parallel event to the 31st edition of The International Festival of Amateurs Films in Kelibia-Tunisia.

Haytham Abdel Hamid received a grant to travel from Cairo to Beirut to participate in Tripoli International Film Festival that is organized yearly to enrich the cinematic movement in North Lebanon. The festival received 227 films from the entire world of which only 53 films were selected. “Behind the doors of silence” of Haytham Abdel Hamid is one of the selected films.

Eyad Houssami received a grant to invite Sobhi Shami from London and Taghrid Shoukair from Leipzig – Germany to Beirut to continue their work on “T. Jane Family”, a project of Masrah Ensemble that started in September 2015 with the support of Culture Resource.

Wael Jegham received a grant to support his travel with 4 musicians from France to Tunisia to give the first concert of the album “Halib el Ghoula / The ogress milk” on the occasion of the World Music Da. The concert will take place in the Tunisian capital’s Habib Bourguiba Street. In addition to the concert, Jegham will attend a workshop on music, mixing sounds, and sound improvements which will be carried out by a French expert.

Ayman Massoud received a grant to support his travel with 5 musicians from the Massar Egbari band from Cairo to Beirut to give a concert at Metro Al Madina.

Samar Haddad King received a grant to support her travel with 7 artists of the group of “If the sun” performance. The artists come from Palestine, Lebanon, and Morocco and will travel to Jordan in order to participate in the 10th edition of the Zakharif in Motion Dance Festival in Amman.

Ramzi Abou Radwan received a grant to support his travel with 12 Palestinian musicians from Kamandjati association from Ramallah to Beirut. The musicians will participate in an artistic residency in Saint Michel – Maasser Al Chouf with 7 Palestinian musicians living in Lebanon. The musicians will perform on August 11 in the UNESCO Palace.

Souad Mohamed Suleiman Ahmad received a grant to travel from Cairo to Agadir – Morocco to attend the 4th edition of Agadir’s Novel Encounters that combines between critical thinking and creativity. The encounters have already hosted numerous literary names from a variety of Arab countries.
