Cimatheque

Cimatheque was founded in Cairo in 2010. The center believes in the diversity of film as an art medium and aims to create a space where audiences, filmmakers, and film critics can meet, exchange ideas and expertise and engage in an open dialogue about film. The programs and services of Cimatheque include film screenings, specialized workshops, a film archive open to researchers and audiences, a film laboratory and a digital scanner.
