MAP 24 (Collaboration between Cimatheque, Cairotronica, Behna for Arts and Sakiya)
Map 24 aims to build models for collaboration among active institutions in the cultural sector to improve working conditions, foster resource sharing, and explore possibilities for interdisciplinary and cross-border collaboration.
Map 24 is a continuation of the Map 23 project, building on its two core tracks: enhancing the ecosystem for cultural workers and institutions in Egypt and transnational joint programming. The first track focuses on expanding equitable healthcare systems, improving legal and accounting frameworks, and strengthening archival infrastructure. The second track aims to reshape regional collaborations in joint programming, navigating current regional challenges.

MAP 23
MAP 23 is a collaboration between Cimatheque - Alternative Film Center in Cairo, Cairotronica, and Sakiya - Art Science Agriculture. It aims to build models for collaboration among active institutions in the cultural sector to improve working conditions, foster resource sharing, and explore possibilities for interdisciplinary and cross-border collaboration.
MAP 23 operates on two parallel projects which are:
Enhancing Institutional Infrastructure in Egypt: This project involves creating legal and accounting resources to help a group of independent cultural institutions in Egypt, including Cimatheque and Cairotronica, adapt to the changing legal and tax environment in Egypt.
Interdisciplinary & Cross-Border Collaboration: This project involves creating a dialogue about alternative methods for collective programming and/or production that includes the MAP 23 partners (Cimatheque, Cairotronica, and Sakiya) to develop a sustainable interdisciplinary and cross-border unconventional collaboration model.
