Daoud Mohammad Daoud Awawda

Daoud Ghannam is the founder and CEO of uMake, which he launched after eight years in Palestine’s IT sector to create a space where changemakers and entrepreneurs can inspire, create, and grow. In 2018, he established the Founder Institute Palestine, the local chapter of the world’s largest pre-seed acceleration program, which has since graduated 18 tech startups. Beyond founding ventures, Daoud is an entrepreneurship trainer and coach. He recently launched Startup Palestine, an entrepreneur-led community that aims to change the status quo and elevate the Palestinian entrepreneurship scene. He is also the founder of Goodesk, a marketplace that connects remote workers with like-minded professionals in nearby spaces. He is also an advisor for Loyal VC and multiple startups.
