Liana Badr is a Palestinian novelist, journalist, and film director. Her books and novels have been translated into several languages and her documentary films have won several international awards. She studied Psychology in Beirut and holds an MA in Contemporary Arabic Studies from Birzeit University. She served as general director of Arts and Consultant for the film Archive at the Ministry of Culture in Palestine.
