Nadine Salib is an Egyptian director. She started her career in 2005 and worked in many films as an assistant director. In 2012, she directed her first short documentary “Dawn”, which won several prizes. Um Ghayeb, or Mother of the Unborn is her first feature-length documentary, which had its European premiere in IDFA 2014, and the Arab premiere in Abu Dhabi 2014. She is currently working on her first feature narrative film “The Land Beyond”.

ADEF (Arab Digital Expression) camp for youth
The grant supports her travel from Egypt to Lebanon in order participate as a trainer in an ADEF (Arab Digital Expression) camp for youth which seeks to encourage young people from Arab countries to express themselves in artistic and creative ways using digital and non-digital media.
