Najwa Barakat

After studying theater and cinema, Najwa Barakat started working as a journalist in newspapers, television and radio channels. Barakat wrote seven novels in Arabic, which were translated into many other languages. She established a writing workshop for young writers in the Arab world, " Mohtaraf how to write a novel" which published 23 novels. She recently moved from Beirut to Paris.
