Studio 8 is a Jordanian non-profit company active in the fields of dance and contemporary performance arts. Founded in 2014 by a group of young artists, it aims to reshape and humanize dance through innovation, experimentation, development, exchange, education, and research. Since its establishment, it has become a key hub for artistic innovation and cultural exchange in Jordan and beyond, working to expand access to dance, foster opportunities for cultural expression and community awareness, and share the joy of dance with others by creating a space that reflects the diverse communities it serves. Studio 8’s work includes producing contemporary performances, enhancing audience engagement, facilitating artistic exchange and international collaboration, and hosting multidisciplinary artistic residencies. As the organizer of the IDEA Festival, Studio 8 brings together dancers, choreographers, multidisciplinary artists, and global audiences. It has collaborated with more than 600 artists from 43 nationalities, produced 10 original works, presented 60 performances, and delivered 160 workshops and training sessions.

Itinerary: Studio 8 Collective will take part in the “On Marche Festival for Contemporary Dance” in Marrakesh, Morocco, where they will showcase their new performance titled “Crossing”. In addition to their performance, the group will engage in networking events, performances, and educational activities organized within the festival. These events offer a platform for artists from diverse backgrounds to interact, collaborate, and share insights.
