Culture Resource, in partnership with the British Council, is organizing “The Podcast Multaqa” in Beirut and online on the 14th and 15th of June 2023. The forum dives into the present and the future of podcasting and its production in Arabic on topics related to arts and culture. Podcasters and experts will hold sessions for two days to reflect, discuss and exchange about this medium, its content, publishing platforms, and experiences accumulated in this field.
The forum draws upon Culture Resource‘s experience in designing and implementing the Mudawanat project, which was launched in 2020, in partnership with the British Council, and will conclude this year. The project conducted two rounds of training for a group of 27 participants, some of whom contributed to the production of Mudawanat podcast, which comprises more than 60 episodes across 7 series.
