Born in Baghdad, of Iraqi origin, and holding Dutch nationality, he emigrated in 1994 and completed his studies in design. He initially studied engraving and printing, followed by sculpture, at the Academy of Arts in Baghdad. In exile, he became a full-time designer and established Nadeem Studio. In 2003, he launched the online magazine Daftar and has since made significant contributions to numerous international exhibitions and activities.
